How US-Iran tensions could benefit ISIL in Iraq

Fears in Iraq ISIL is seeking to exploit any instability arising out of tensions between the US and Iran.

There are fears in Baghdad that growing tension between the United States and Iran could have dangerous implications for Iraq‘s stability.

As the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) continues on the ground, it is feared the group is just waiting for any weakness in international coalition efforts.
